I had a terribly restless night last night, I have been sleeping in the spare room so as not to make Brian ill and just can’t get used to the bed. Despite that I forced myself to go to work today and now I feel the worse for it. Janet tried to get me to go home all day but I had so much work to do and do it I did, when I left tonight I was right up to date. I hope it was worth it.
Brian got his new car yesterday and tonight I drove it for the first time, it drives quite nicely, but the brakes are a bit touchy. I suppose that happens with a brand new car.
My youngest granddaughter Calais turned 1 today so we had pizza with Melissa and the 2 boys, as well as Melissa’s mother and her partner Steve. I played “Fish” with Bailey for a while and stumped him with my magic card trick, if only he knew. It is a shame that Ryan missed his daughter’s birthday but he is doing what he must for his family.
I am really starting to wilt at the moment so am going to bed. Thank you for reading.
